Progressive mare Global Sanction (pictured middle) continued the recent hot winning streak for the Grahame Begg stable with her win at Pakenham on Friday night.

Begg did have to settle for sharing the prize with Cranbourne trainer Mick Kent as the judge could not separate Global Sanction and the Kent trained Wild Sea as they hit the line locked together. Both trainers and gallopers involving themselves in a little bit of history on the night being the first to Dead Heat a race on the Pakenham grass circuit.

Global Sanction was a luckless 3rd last start at Bendigo after her slashing first up run at the same track so Begg was very pleased with her recording her first win this preparation even though she had to share the spoils.

The lightly raced daughter of Sebring will now press on to the Flemington carnival in just over two weeks where Begg has picked out a rare but valuable restricted race for her over 1700m.
